Aim
The Vulnerable Children
Assistance Organization (VCAO) is a non-profit,
non-governmental organization created by a group of
post-Khmer Rouge orphans. The VCAO works with poor and
socially vulnerable children to provide education, build
hope, and promote healthy dreams for the
future.
History &
Philosophy
Established in 1994, VCAO works
with children who are often neglected by society and at
risk of labor exploitation or sex
trafficking.
VCAO provides an opportunity for
these young people and their mothers to earn an income
through the production of handicrafts at their home,
with the products being sold at local markets near their
house.
