Aim Rachana Handicrafts
Battambang (RHB) is a local, non-governmental and
non-profit organization which aims to strengthen the
capacity and family economics of poor women through the
provision of skills training.
History & Philosophy RHB
was developed by the International Catholic Migration
Commission in 1996 to provide employment and income
generating opportunities for widows, poor women and
disabled people.
Many of RHB’s beneficiaries were
previously trained by other NGOs but want to further
develop their skills and have an opportunity to support
their families by working for RHB. We also encourage
artisans to develop their skills and self-confidence to
become independent operators and utilise the business
skills they have learned at RHB.
