Aim Rehab Craft Cambodia is
a non-profit, non-governmental organization that aims to
create training and employment opportunities and provide
support to Cambodian people with
disabilities.
History
& Philosophy Rehab Craft was initially
developed by the New Zealand Overseas Development
Assistance Programme, part of the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and Trade, back in 1996 and is now an
independent, local NGO.
All our earnings from
product sales are re-invested in our training and
employment programs for Cambodians with disabilities. We
pay fair wages maintain a staff benefit programs to
support individual needs. All medical, maternity, and
holiday benefits equal or exceed legal requirements. All
expenses related to disability (such as prosthetics or
wheelchairs) are fully paid for by Rehab
Craft.
We aim to produce a range of unique,
high-quality carved wood, silk and silver products. We
derive our design inspiration from the work of
traditional Cambodian artisans and all our product are
handcrafted in Cambodia.
