The Mat Shop aims to supply high-quality natural-made products to an international and local market, creating income-generation opportunities for Cambodian producers, particularly disabled producers and those living with HIV/AIDS.
History & Philosophy
The Mat Shop is a family-run business that has been selling mat-based products for over fifteen years, initially to local customers and tourists but increasingly exporting around the world.
The mats and other products, which include handbags and other accessories, are produced by the hands of Cambodians who have been expertly trained by their ancestors or well-known non-governmental organizations.
