Aim
The Indigenous Livelihood Development Project (ILDP) aims to strengthen the traditional way of life of the indigenous ‘Bunong’ people based in Mondulkiri Province, Cambodia.
History &
Philosophy
In 2004, Ms Mane Yun returned from studying in the USA to establish the ILDP with the support of Refugees International. Since that time, the ILDP has catalogued the various traditional art and craft forms of the Bunong people, forming a co-operative of producers who can pass on their knowledge and skills to others. Through the ILDP, the traditional handicrafts and fabric of the Bunong people have been displayed and sold at exhibitions in Cambodia, Thailand and the USA.
