Aim Meahto Phum Ko’mah,
also known as Homeland, is a non-governmental,
non-profit organization that aims to improve the
standard of living and well being of vulnerable children
by providing a safe environment, educational
opportunities, vocational training and the possibility
of family reunification.
History & Philosophy Homeland
was established in 1997 to address the situation of
children living on the streets of Battambang Town and
has slowly and methodically established itself over the
past seven years.
Children who live at the Homeland Center in
Battambang are given the opportunity to learn vocational
skills such as weaving, sewing and basket making, as
well as apprenticeships in manufacturing car cushions
and furniture, nail polishing, and traditional dancing.
Homeland also manages two handicraft workshops for local
women who have been affected by HIV/AIDS. Products Fashion
