Aim
At Chariya we aim to provide employment opportunities for disadvantaged women with basic sewing skills to earn income through using their skills as well as gaining economic independence and self esteem.
History & Philosophy
Chariya is a small scale business enterprise employing women with physical disabilities or from vulnerable backgrounds who have been trained at a skill training center on the outskirts of Phnom Penh. Formed in mid 2003, Chariya work with a Japanese designer to create original products with a hint of Japanese taste in each design.
We also work with natural dyed cotton and silk.
